Privacy Policy

The Short Version

We collect the minimum information needed to run the site. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties except where required to operate the site (e.g., our database host). You can delete your account and data by contacting us.

What We Collect

• —Account information: If you create an account, we store your email address and username. Your email is used only for account authentication and is never displayed publicly.
• —Garage data: Vehicles you add to your garage (year, make, model, chassis number, mileage, nickname) and any maintenance records you log. This data is private to your account.
• —Newsletter email: If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address for that purpose only.
• —Showcase submissions: Build photos and descriptions you voluntarily submit to the public showcase.
• —Standard server logs: IP addresses and request metadata that our hosting provider (Vercel) logs automatically. We do not actively analyze or retain these beyond what Vercel retains by default.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, VINs tied to your identity, or any sensitive personal data. We do not build advertising profiles or track your activity across other websites.

How We Use Your Data

• —To authenticate you and maintain your account session.
• —To store and display your garage and maintenance records to you (only you).
• —To send newsletter updates if you opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us).
• —To display your username and public showcase builds to other users, if you submitted them.

Third-Party Services

• —Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Account data and garage data are stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the US. See supabase.com/privacy.
• —Vercel — our hosting provider. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We do not use advertising networks, third-party analytics platforms (like Google Analytics), or any service that tracks users across sites. If this changes, this policy will be updated first.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie issued by Supabase to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies. If you are not logged in, no cookies are set by us.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us and we will process the request within a reasonable timeframe. Newsletter subscribers can request removal at any time.
